Araura was a majestic series of skylands that looked over the lands of Sereth from the skies above. The archipelago would travel all over the planet via a special current called the “Etherflow”, allowing the massive floating islands to travel at incredible speeds.

Araura would offer pacifist solutions to problems that would arise among the inhabitants of Sereth, though they had been known to use force in the rare acceptation that it became necessary. However, Araura was more known for its teachings.

Every year during the Lunar Prism, one region would be selected for Araura to visit. During this time, the Araurans would visit with, learn more intimately about the customs and ways of those people as well as impart knowledge and wisdom. They would learn of the needs of the people and offer guidance on how to solve their problems as well as how to avoid them in the future.

When a promising member of a community was recognized, they were invited to live on Araura for a year where they could further their education. Once a generation, one of these Serethans would be invited to “ascend”. The Ascension ceremony was the highest of honors, a week-long event where the world would celebrate one of their own becoming Arauran.
