Taldara is a nomadic tribal-nation that inhabit the Southlands, an area of the Darkon continent where The Curse has not reached. The Taldaren Southlands are green and beautiful and they enjoy easy access to the Lavorian Sea.

The origin of the Taldaren people is unclear - known only to the Grand Chieftain and the sages that serve under him. However it has been speculated that they came from the Kazogaru continent - South of Darkon - a little over a thousand years ago. 

The ruling body is called the Merikoom — seven sages and a Grand Chieftain who meet once a year to appoint new roles to different caravans as well as elect new Khagan (caravan leaders that work with the sage who oversees their fleet). On elf the top priorities of the Merikoom is to decide which youth from each caravan will be nominated for the Sangatuum - training to become one of their Sangtor warriors. As military might is a top priority for the Grand Chieftain, having powerful Sangtor to defend their people is of the utmost importance.

The Tadaren are a monotheistic culture and worship Shentaga, The God of Green Lands.
