The cursed land at the center of the continent of Darkon, formerly known as the Mursai Empire, was once the great guardian and shining light of the world that had a close partnership with Araura before The Vanishing. It was and still is home to many humans, Barguran and what is left of the Sivian. However, people now have to stay in close-knit villages and towns because of the rise of warlords and monsters that have moved in to claim territories within the land after the fall of Mursai.

There was an old farewell used in the Mursai Empire, “The sun never sets on Mursai”. Eerie as the statement may seem today, citizens still use it as a desperate token of goodwill.
