All-seeing and almost divine in nature, the Araurans are a race of ascendent beings that inhabit the skylands of Araura. Or rather - they were.

For three-thousand years the Araurans graced the skies above Sereth, imparting knowledge and wisdom to all who sought a better existence. Of all of the Arauran teachings, they viewed “Rauhuum” to be their greatest tenet. In the Arauran language it means “to leave better” - this could refer to self-improvement, or more commonly it referred to the Arauran nature to teach and enlighten others.

Araurans are peaceful and wise in nature. Always quick to listen, they have a genuinely innate empathy when caring about the plight of those they are helping. Though their nature is to avoid conflict, they are also distinguished warriors.

When first arriving in Sereth, the Araurans realized that Serethans already knew how to channel their inner energies for physical enhancements and various types of magic - usually for warfare. After the War of Eveleroft at the end of the Third Era, the Araurans began to teach the various races of Sereth how to more properly hone these abilities through an Arauran discipline called Awakening. 

The power, influence and peaceful nature that comprised all of what Araura stood for makes the mystery of The Vanishing all the more concerning for the rest of Sereth.
